'TOGS' Away Day Competition
Saturday 3rd April '04

Venue - Alnwick Golf course - Northumberland

Winner = Graham Marsh - 45 points

Runner-up = Paul Keenan - 44 points
 

'Togs' Doubles Competition:

Dave Rowntree / Eddy Stothert bt Le Hunt / Alan Ross 3&2

     Champion - Le Hunt (222 points).   A record high score in our 2 seasons.

Runner up - Doug Walker (217 points).   A fantastic defence of his title by last years champion!

3rd place     - Daz Ridley.   Daz got down to scratch and his scores overall are outstanding.

4th place      - Willy Smith.   Oor Willy scored 213 points and came down to 6hcp, great season.

5th place      - Dave Rowntree.   Week in week out I reckon Dave played the most consistent golf.

6th place      - Tony Sarginson.   If Tony had played more games I am sure he would be higher.

7th place      - Alan Ross.   'Rosco' got down to 9hcp and gave it a good run with 206 points.

8th=              - Graham Marsh.   I ended up second lowest hcp, but struggled to score off 5.

8th=              - Dave Archbold.   My 'dark horse' did not play enough games to finish higher.

10th=            - Dave Bavaird.   Very creditable score of 203 points for our cultured Caledonian.

10th=            - Paul Keenan.   Another who would have been higher with more games.

12th=            - Bob Best.   One of 3 'TOGS' to finish on 198 points.

12th=            - Bill Fletcher.   Lack of games again a major factor.

12th=            - Mike Potts.   Started to come good late in the season.   18hcp down to 13hcp.

15th              - Eddy Stothert.   Work commitments made it difficult for Ed to find a rhythm.

Frankie Graham passed away during the season but will always be remembered by his fellow 'TOGS'.
